Visual Weight
Visual weight is the perceived heaviness of an element — driven by size, color and density — that determines how strongly it pulls the eye.
The perceived “heaviness” of an element, driven by size, color saturation, density and position. Heavy elements anchor a composition; too many heavy elements compete and the page feels cluttered. Balancing weight is how you turn a pile of cards into a layout.
