Contrast
Contrast is the luminance or color difference between elements; WCAG requires at least a 4.5:1 ratio for body text.
The measurable difference in luminance or color between elements, usually expressed as a WCAG ratio — 4.5:1 minimum for body text. Contrast creates readability and hierarchy; too little hides content, too much everywhere flattens emphasis.
